blondie is proving that men and women should simply not coexist, like ever…but that has nothing to do with what I wanted to talk about today. Ok so the old, short, fat, really ugly, angry blue smurf with one wonky knee, a strong arm that ended up graduating at the bottom of his class and somehow, fuck knows how, managed to shag the fuck out of a hot heiress and become a contender for the presidency should be shot dead, that too has nothing to do with this blog post but i’m feeling random today, but seriously it’s dangerous to underestimate that jack off.

So this was going to be a post about this nifty little trick to generate around 300-800 uniques a day in targeted traffic to your site, but i’ll save that for another post. It’s now all about the new wordpress upgrade to 2.6! Released way sooner than expected mind you, almost a month, which to me just spells out 2.61-2.62 and probably 2.63 before mid next month, because WP just has a way with screwing shit up when they rush crap. Don’t upgrade yet, seriously wait till the morons of the blogosphere have upgraded, fucked up their blogs, complained and cried long enough for WP to release an upgrade! :D  Lab rats i tell you, that’s all you are! Blondie, don’t you dare click that update now button haha! Seriously I will rape your leg if you do!

First off the 2 security patches they claim to have addressed in this update I had already patched myself when I setup this blog, one of which was addressed on milw0rm.com’s irc channel back 3 months ago, seriously, what’s launching 30 days before a scheduled launch when you’re already 3months behind everyone? BURN, CRASH AND BURN BABY.

Before I go on any further, i’m sure my attempts of talking you out of upgrading will fail, as most of you are probably WP fan boys and girls anyway to have landed on this post, but don’t manually upgrade for fucks sake, you’re not the amazing Buddha, you will most likely screw up some how, so go ahead and use this wp auto upgrade plugin.

oh and the Press This! feature is balls, utter shite, and makes no sense, and is pretty damn useless too, why have it there? See this is the thing, this is the reason why most people with half a brain (me excluded because i’m stuck using WP) use other blogging software…WP thinks, the more you can stuff into the software the better, let me tell you a secret, WP is fucking WRONG.

So ride the mess out and wait for the soon to be released 2.61 update before upgrading and causing yourself ass cramps ok? To end this on a positive note, I do like the revision tracking feature in the new update, helps bloggers that share blogs and such keep track of this and that, specially helpful in keeping an eye on blondie as i’m sure, with time, she’ll revert to editing my posts just cause it will eventually get out of hand, i’m predictable, what can i say!

UPDATE:

Yes, this is my moment to shine, here goes. I TOLD YOU SO. In all honesty it was a given, something bound to happen.

Wordpress 2.6.1 is out and about making the rounds in an attempt to patch up all the crap it’s predecessor wordpress 2.6 had caused. Now, with the release of wordpress 2.7 just around the corner, it makes you wonder does it not? HAHAHA. Wordpress, will never learn. Teach a dog a trick they say, wordpress is one silly mutt that simply wont fucking learn. One day, they will launch a fast update and blow up all the WP blogs out there and go ooops, we missed a screw. A screw my ass, at the speed and plain carelessness these updates are being released, it’s no wonder people are going to frown, cuss and spit baseball sized spit balls at WP. We appreciate it being free and all, but why claim to be the best when you’re simply not.

People, TypePad is the way to go, trust me, I would NOT steer you wrong, ever.
